A Teleclass for People Who Want to Get A Book Written But Never Quite Get It Done

Contact me for info on the next Visioning

Is it really possible to start and complete your book, without driving yourself crazy, and without going on retreat for a year?

You've got a great idea for a book but not much has happened since the idea arrived. Oh, you may have jotted down the idea, and maybe even a bit more... but where's the book?

You want to do it, you mean to do it, but somehow it just isn't happening.

Yet the call to write your book is still there. It's a yearning, even an imperative from within. In fact, when you remember your book, you squirm a bit inside because it isn't even well started, let alone done.

Maybe one or more of these thoughts pass through your mind when you think about your unwritten book:

  • You know your idea is great, but you really don't know where or how to start.

  • You've actually started writing, but somehow a wheel has come off and you're lost in the process, so you've set it aside, hoping some magic will happen.

  • You know you're not a writer, and you're thinking about hiring a ghostwriter or writing coach, but you're not sure how to communicate your idea so the person you hire catches fire too.

  • You're a professional writer but have never written a book-length manuscript. The thought of all those words just flat overwhelms you.

  • The whole process of writing and publishing a book just seems too mysterious and daunting...

Yet your idea persists, nagging at you. It's as if your soul demands that somehow, some way you must get your book written.

What brings a book project to life so YOU know exactly what to do?

A clear Vision is what every book needs. Every book? Yes, every book. And every successful book has a Vision, even if the author doesn't call it that.

A Vision is larger than a goal - the Vision provides the framework for goals that actually work by giving you a clear sense of the larger purpose of your book. You'll discover that once you catch the Vision for your book, the creative energy you need to get your book done will flow more freely.

A Vision is larger than you, at least in the usual way you think about yourself. The Vision includes Spirit's or the Divine's or your Higher Self's or God's information for you and your book. A Vision allows you and your idea for a book to expand. It's a way to tap into your genuine passion and love so you can share that with the world.

You can invite Spirit into the process through Visioning.

So... What, Exactly Is Visioning?

Visioning is a meditative way of bringing the Divine at your center into the mix as you create your book.

Visioning about your book helps you catch Spirit's (however you name that) highest idea for your project.

Visioning is a way to hear, feel, sense what you might miss otherwise.

The Vision for your book will inform you in sometimes startling ways, and act as a guide through the whole project.

Although Visioning can be done alone (and you'll receive instructions about this after the class), there's a certain magic, a synergy, that happens when a group of people gather to Vision together. Perhaps it's the shared energy that helps each participant open up to expanded understandings and possibilities.

During a group Visioning the whole truly is larger than the sum of its individual parts.

Why A TeleClass?

Teleclasses offer several advantages, including:

  • You're not in San Diego (probably) for a face-to-face Visioning.
  • You can experience the power of the group over the phone no matter where you are.
  • You can participate in the Visioning over the phone from the privacy from your home, office, or wherever you choose.
  • For a limited time, you'll be able to review a recording of your Visioning by phone.
  • You'll also be able to download your Visioning to your computer to review at your leisure.
  • And, if you request it, I'll send you a CD of your Visioning.

But the biggest advantage to a Visioning over the phone is the intimacy established with the energy of the group - a true opportunity to make heart connections.

How It Works

Visioning takes about an hour-and-a half and works like this:

  • The leader asks everyone in the group to identify themselves briefly.

  • Everyone in the group agrees to keep what is said during the Visioning private and confidential.

  • The leader helps the group move into a quiet, meditative space... then proposes a series of questions, like these:

What is Spirit's Highest Vision/Ideal for my book?

What idea, thought, or behavior, do I need to release in order to empower this Vision for my book?

... usually about seven questions are posed.

The questions are asked three times - the first time through people are asked not to write anything down, but simply to open to Spirit.

The second time the questions are asked participants are invited to write down what they received.

The questions are repeated a third time and participants are asked to share, if they choose, about the information they received.

The session is wrapped up.

What Results Can You Expect From Visioning?

The exact or specific results of Visioning are hard to predict. During the process you may get actual mental pictures, or you may get a fragrance, or a thought, or a sound. Or, in response to one question or another you may get nothing.

As you work with what you receive during the Visioning, and even after, your idea of your book is clearer and often expanded. You'll probably feel energized and even more committed to getting your book written.

You find you can articulate the purpose of your book more clearly. Along with the purpose comes a better idea of who you're really writing for - a specific audience rather than a general one.

From this new understanding of your book, deciding and taking your next steps becomes doable.

Wow! I'm so much clearer about my next steps thanks to the Visioning. Thank you.  Dane
